AlphaVille is a 1965 science fiction movie directed by Jean Luc Godard. The movie won the Gold Bear Award at the Berlin Film Festival in 1965. The movie stars Eddie Constantine, Anna Karina, Howard Vernon and Akim Tamiroff as the lead roles. The story is about the happenings of another planet. But unlike many of the fiction movies, there are no special effects and costly sets. The film was shot in the street of Paris. The character in this film depicts the life of twentieth century. AlphaVille refers to a city in another planet. All in all it’s a great black and white movie.
